APK Installer is a free program designed to install software on a mobile phone if the built-in package installer cannot detect its format. When decompressing files, the standard HARK is used, which supports the new distribution system ARQ used by Google.
Uptodown Installer has the following functionality:
- The ability to automatically search for all software installed on the phone, as well as save backups;
- The function of installing any file of the ARK or HARK format in the internal or external memory of the smartphone;
- Browsing smartphone folders using the pre-installed file browser.
If the file size limit allowed by Google was exceeded, it was necessary to manually install the application's OVR data. This required installing additional packages in separate well-defined folders. The best solution was to combine the data of HNS and ARC into a single file, and install it using a third-party tool. Thus, the HARK standard was born.
The main purpose of the Uptodown Installer is to provide the ability to continue installing software manually without learning the downloadable file formats and searching for the destination folder. When backups are created, the application packs all files into a single XAPK format. As a result, when installing private copies of software, you need to find just one single file and start installing it, forgetting about all existing standards and formats.
