Minecraft 1.21.61

Minecraft 1.21.61 – the latest update aims to address a number of issues from version 1.21.60. The gradual rollout of this update starts today and will cover all platforms.

Fixes and Changes

• The issue causing an error message when attempting to connect to your Realm has been resolved. The connection process now works properly.

User Interface

• The "Keep Inventory" option is once again considered a cheat on all game difficulty levels.
• Fixed incorrect touch control behavior where the character would continue moving diagonally after the menu was opened.

Stability and Performance

• Resolved a crash that occurred during project loading or creation in the editor caused by custom blocks attempting to access materials before they were fully loaded.

Mobs

• Hoglins and Zoglins now consistently take damage from projectiles without glitches or delays.

Blocks

• Fixed accelerated Lectern ticks and random Redstone signal activations. These elements now function as intended.

Previous Update

The previous game update introduced numerous significant improvements, including:

• Mangrove tree leaves no longer display black pixels when the "Simple Leaves" setting is enabled, now appearing as expected.
• Lilies and sunflowers no longer flicker when viewed from a distance, ensuring your favorite plants look flawless from any range.
• Tall grass generated by using bone meal on moss blocks is now fully visible instead of appearing half-rendered.
• Plants such as torch flowers and pitcher plants now increase the chances of a nearby sapling growing into a beehive tree.
• Fixed a crash occurring when breaking a "Screeching Heart," enhancing gameplay stability and making battles safer.
• Water flow functions correctly again when placed on magma blocks or soul sand, adding more realism to the game.
• The "Screeching Heart" now has a special state for when it’s in the correct configuration but cannot summon a creature due to it being daytime.
• Players can now place blocks on iron doors and trapdoors without crouching, making construction more convenient.
